Therapy for ADHD & Neurodivergent Adults

Why should I get hypnotherapy for ADHD?

Over recent years, more and more adults with ADHD, autism or other neurodivergent traits look for support with the challenges that often accompany neurodivergence.

Many of my clients come to therapy after years of feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed or believing there is something “wrong” with them. Often, they have spent a lifetime masking their true selves or trying to meet expectations that don’t fit the way their brain naturally works.

Being neurodivergent is not something that needs to be “fixed.”

However, many adults experience anxiety, overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, burnout, procrastination, people-pleasing or, the exhaustion that comes from years of masking their true selves.

How can hypnotherapy help my ADHD?

My role is to help you understand how your mind works, build on your strengths and develop practical strategies to help you thrive. Every session is adapted to the individual, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

Using a tailored combination of clinical hypnotherapy, counselling, NLP, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, I’ll work with you to improve your emotional resilience, confidence and wellbeing.

I commonly support adults with:

  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges
  • Emotional regulation
  • Anxiety and overthinking
  • Stress and burnout
  • Low confidence and self-esteem
  • Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD)
  • Procrastination and motivation
  • Workplace pressures
  • Social confidence and relationships
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Addiction

Whether you have a formal diagnosis, are awaiting assessment, or simply recognise many of these traits in yourself, therapy can provide a safe, supportive space to better understand yourself and develop effective strategies for lasting change.

My aim is not to change who you are, but to help you work with your unique way of thinking so you can feel calmer, more confident and better equipped to navigate everyday life.
